The British attack the summit of Monument Hill

Pictured in this diorama on display at the battlefield site, we can see a crucial point in the battle- the attack by seasoned troops led by Brigadier General Simon Fraser uphill against Colonel Ebenezer Francis' American rear-guard- hidden behind the stone wall at  the very top of the hill. 4
